Guangzhou, Sep 26: Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis outclassed the Chinese pair of Shilin Xu-Xiaodi You to claim the Guangzhou Open title on Saturday.

The Indo-Swiss combination did not face too many problems from the local favourites on their way to a 6-3, 6-1 win.

Sania thus claimed her seventh title of the season. She has won six titles with Hingis this year including triumphs at Wimbledon and US Open.

The World no. 1 pair have also won WTA tour events in Indian Wells, Miami and Charleston.
