Sania Mirza-Martina Hingis win Miami Open doubles title

Miami, Apr 6: Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis won the Miami Open title in women's doubles on Sunday by defeating Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in straight sets. It was their second title in a row.

The top seeded pair got better of the Russian duo 7-5, 6-1. Sania and Hingis pair had also defeated the Russians in the final of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells two weeks ago. The win in Miami was Sania's 25th career doubles title.

Sania Mirza posted a photo of the trophy with Martina Hingis on Twitter after the match.
