Saurabh knocks Ronak in Grade 'II' junior tennis

New Delhi, Jan 16: Saurabh Singh won against Ronak Manuja 7-6(4), 7-5 at the boys' final of the Power Grid ITF Grade 'II" junior tennis tournament at the DLTA Complex on Thursday, Jan 15.

The 17-year-old Manuja was a break up early in both the sets, but lacked the conviction in his abilities against the talented opponent who had the willingness to slug it out.

In the final, the wiry Saurabh will be challenged by Sumeet Shinde who brought an end to the fine run of Shiva Sangwan in a tough three setter.

In the girls" event, the top-seeded Rashmi Teltumbe stopped Ashvarya Shrivastava in three sets set up a title clash with the second-seeded Sachie Ishizu of Japan.
