Bengaluru, December 16: It will be a repeat final on Sunday as Karnataka’s Shekar Veeraswamy, the top seed, will take on second-seeded Balachandar Subramanian of Tamil Nadu in the men’s singles final of the Tabebuia Open 2017, the AITA-ranking event of the Indian Wheelchair Tennis Tour organised by Astha.
Balachandar, who won in Chennai earlier this year, beat local lad Shivaprasad to take on Shekar, who drubbed Anand Selvaraj of TN on Saturday (December 16).
In the women’s final, it will be an all-Karnataka battle as top-seeded Prathima N Rao will take on second-seeded Shilpa KP.
