"Extremely glad to share that I have officially qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This is a monumental moment for me as the Olympics holds a special place in my heart!" Nagal, who turned pro in 2015, wrote.

Nagal's journey to qualification was bolstered by his recent triumphs, including a victory at the Heilbronn Challenger, which helped him climb into the top 80 of the ATP singles rankings.

Earlier this season, the Jhajjar-born star also secured the Chennai Challenger title and made commendable strides in other major tournaments, including the Australian Open and ATP 1000 events like the Indian Wells Masters and Monte-Carlo Masters.

On June 13, All India Tennis Association (AITF) association announced Rohan Bopanna and N Sriram Balaji as the men's doubles pair from India for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.

44-year-old Bopanna, ranked 4th in the world, was allowed to choose his partner and the veteran Grand Slam champion opted for 34-year-old Sriram Balaji, who is ranked 67th in the world at the moment.
