In a thrilling match at the AITA National Series U-12 tournament in Jaipur, Karnataka's Thanush Shekar BC secured a remarkable victory. On Sunday, he defeated Nayan Khatri from Delhi with scores of 4-6, 6-3, 6-0. This win marks Thanush's second National Series title and his fourth singles title this season.
Earlier in October, Thanush clinched his first National Series crown in Hyderabad. The 10-year-old student from Vels Global School has also won two Super Series titles this year. He achieved these victories in Rajkot during July and again in Jaipur the following month.

Among other participants from Karnataka, Nihal S Reddy reached the quarterfinals but was defeated by Tegveer Singh. Meanwhile, Dharmik S Gunare faced Nayan Khatri in the pre-quarterfinals and was unable to advance further.
The final match saw Thanush triumph over Nayan Khatri with a comeback win. In the semifinals, he overcame Tegveer Singh with a scoreline of 6-4, 6-0. During the quarterfinals, Thanush dominated Kabir Dahiya with a straight-set victory of 6-0, 6-0.
In earlier rounds, Thanush defeated Aarush Reddy Y with scores of 6-3, 6-3 in the pre-quarterfinals. Nihal S Reddy managed to beat Atharv Chaudhary with scores of 7-5, 6-0. However, Dharmik S Gunare lost to Nayan Khatri with scores of 6-1, 6-2.
During Round 2 matches, Thanush secured a win against Manvay Solanki with scores of 6-1, 6-2. Nihal triumphed over Aryaman Kapila with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-0. Dharmik S Gunare also advanced by defeating Trikha Aviral with scores of 6-0, 6-0.
In the opening round of the tournament, Nihal S Reddy emerged victorious against Shorya Raj Shekhawat with an impressive scoreline of 6-1, 6-0.
