Top juniors for National Series tennis

Mumbai, Apr 25 (UNI) Lakshit Sood of Uttar Pradesh and Nova Patel of Gujarat have been named under-16 top seeds in the All India National Series and Maharashtra State Ranking Tennis Tournament 2007, co-sponsored by DHFL and IOCL, which will be held at Practennis, Andheri from April 30 to May 5.

Samip Mehta of Gujarat, Chetan Pandit of Andhra Pradesh and Gopika Kapoor and Garima Vatwani, both of Delhi, are the other leading juniors, who will challenge the top seeds.

The categories in the National Series include singles and doubles for boys and girls in under-16 and under-14.

The Maharashtra State Ranking tournament will be concurrently held for under-12 and under-10 boys and girls, a release issued here today stated.
