US Open: Injury woes haunt Nadal again

By Super Admin
New York, Sep 7: After the knee injury kept Rafael Nadal from Wimbledon 2009, a right abdominal muscle injury has introduced itself as a potential threat to his US Open campaign.

The third seed Spainiard advanced to the fourth round with a 7-5, 6-4, 6-4 win in the third round over 32nd-ranked countryman Nicolas Almagro after receiving an abdominal treatment from a trainer during the match.

"I don't want to talk about injuries. I try my best every day. I won the match in three sets," Nadal said after the match, adding to the fitness worries.
