Venus Williams says the only true love in her life is Wimbledon

London, June 22 (ANI): Venus Williams is not willing to trade the part of her heart that belongs to Wimbledon, for the tennis ace admits it is the only true love in her life.

The 29-year-old single champ, who presently reigns Wimbledon and Australian Open doubles, said that the Championship comes before anything else.

"It is my true love. When something is in your heart you always do your very best to cherish it," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

"For me, it is Wimbledon - the most hallowed ground in tennis. And I would rather win it than any other Grand Slam title. As long as I remain a great player, I won't let go of that feeling," she added.

The elder sister of Serena Williams has won 56 titles, including 17 Grand Slam titles - seven in singles, eight in women's doubles, and two in mixed doubles.

Venus also holds the record of winning more Olympic gold medals than any other tennis player in history. (ANI)
