Jannik Sinner shrugged off his Roland Garros heartbreak to secure a fantastic victory in the Wimbledon 2025 as the Italian beat Carlos Alcaraz in the men's Singles final on Sunday (July 14).

Sinner, the world No. 1, denied Alcaraz a third consecutive Wimbledon title and established himself as a new champion at SW19. Alcaraz, previously unbeaten in Grand Slam finals, was pushed to the limit but could not overcome Sinner's relentless play on the day.

First Set: Carlos Alcaraz started strong, coming back from 2-4 down to win the set 6-4, showing his trademark resilience and shot-making under pressure.

Second Set: Sinner responded with high-quality tennis, breaking Alcaraz early and holding his nerve to take the set 6-4. His serve and aggressive baseline play turned the momentum in his favor.

Third Set: The set was tightly contested, but Sinner managed a crucial break late, winning another 6-4 set. His consistency and composure under pressure were decisive.

Fourth Set: Sinner broke Alcaraz early and consolidated his lead, going up 3-1. Alcaraz, known for his comebacks, struggled to regain control as Sinner maintained his dominance. Alcaraz had a brief comeback but it was Sinner who clinched the game 6-4, and won the title.

Jannik Sinner wins 4th Grand Slam Title

With the victory, Sinner has now won his 4th grand slam title, the first Wimbledon for the Italian, along with the second in this calendar year as well. The Italian previously won the Australian Open (2024, 2025) twice, and the Australian Open (2024). He was beaten by Alcaraz in the French Open final this year.
