World Tennis League 2024: The World Tennis League (WTL) returns with its third season, promising an exhilarating blend of tennis and entertainment. Hosted at the iconic Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the event runs from December 19 to 22, 2024.
The stage is set for a showdown between global tennis superstars across four power-packed teams, offering fans an unmissable spectacle. Let's take a look at all the relevant details for the event:

With new lineups and reshuffled squads, each team boasts a mix of seasoned champions and emerging talents. Last season’s champions, Team Eagles, are returning with a strong lineup to defend their title, while the other teams are ready to pose serious challenges.
WTL employs a unique format, enhancing the competitive edge of every match. The tournament features a single round-robin stage where each team competes against the others. Points are awarded based on games won, and the top two teams advance to the final on December 22.
Each match includes four sets: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, and two doubles sets. If the fourth set is won by the trailing team, the match enters overtime, a thrilling twist where teams battle for every point until a winner emerges. If required, a Super Shootout – a ten-point tiebreaker – decides the outcome.
This distinctive format ensures that every game counts, making every point crucial in determining the standings.
The tournament kicks off with a blockbuster clash between Game Changers Falcons, led by Elena Rybakina and Andrey Rublev, and TSL Hawks, featuring Aryna Sabalenka and India’s Sumit Nagal. Defending champions HonorFX Eagles, spearheaded by Iga Swiatek and Stefanos Tsitsipas, will face the Kites, including Simona Halep and Nick Kyrgios.
As the league progresses, fans can expect riveting contests, culminating in a high-stakes final.
WTL is not just about tennis; it’s a celebration of sport and entertainment. Alongside the matches, world-renowned music icons will take the stage on December 19 and 21, adding to the event's vibrant atmosphere.
Fans worldwide can catch the action live as the WTL will be broadcast across over 140 countries. Matches are scheduled daily at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM local time, with the final taking place at 5:00 PM on December 22.
