At 19, a young Turkish student discovered his passion for Para swimming. His journey began when his talent was recognised by coach Duran Arslan. "I emailed the Sports Federation for the Physically Disabled in 2019 and said I wanted to do sports. Three months later the answer came. I met coach Duran Arslan, he put me in the water. He told me that I would be an athlete, and I should come to train," he shared.

Balancing sports and academics, he is pursuing a degree in Business at Istanbul Kultur University in Turkiye. Additionally, he has studied physical education at Rumeli University. His academic pursuits complement his athletic career, providing a well-rounded foundation for his future.
Looking ahead, he aims to win a medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. This goal drives him to maintain his intense training regimen and stay focused on his performance.
Outside of swimming and academics, he enjoys reading. This hobby offers him a way to relax and unwind from his demanding schedule.
