There's is only few days left for the upcoming trials for the Asian Championships and the continental Olympics qualifiers but star wrestler Antim Panghal will miss these trials.
Antim Panghal, who secured a spot for India in the Paris Olympics in the women's 53 kg category by winning a bronze medal at the World Championships last year, has a muscle strain. Because of this, she won't be able to participate in the trials happening on March 10-11 in New Delhi.

"She is suffering from muscle strain, and she will recover after 10-15 days," Antim Panghal's coach Vikas Bhardwaj exclusively told myKhel.
Antim, who is Vinesh's top competitor in their weight class, fell at home and hurt her back. She's been told to rest.
"Doctor has advised her to take rest, and she will recover in 10-15 days," replied Vikas when asked about Antim's return to the wrestling mat.
The WFI agreed to give her a break and will test her fitness in a special trial. If she does well, she'll fight the winner of another trial later on.
"She will give trial after she recover from her injury." Vikas added. Antim Panghal has achieved remarkable success, being a two-time Under-20 world champion and winning medals at the Asian Games, Asian Championships, and senior world wrestling championships.
Notably, she's the first Indian woman to clinch a gold medal at the U-20 wrestling world championships. Her remarkable journey is even more impressive as she competes in the 53 kg women's freestyle category, the same division as Olympian Vinesh Phogat.
