‘I Want To Reclaim My Prime’ – Songchainoi Eyes Path Back To Nadaka World Title Rematch With Win Over Banluelok

Former ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Songchainoi Kiatsongrit is determined to snap his current skid. The Thai standout meets compatriot Banluelok Sitwatcharachai in an atomweight Muay Thai main event at The Inner Circle 27 on Friday, August 21, broadcasting via live.onefc.com.

"Mini-Hulk" - holding a ONE record of 10-3 and an overall mark of 60-21 - first turned heads through an impressive run at ONE Friday Fights, earning himself a US$100,000 ONE Championship contract. He later challenged Nadaka for the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title but fell short via unanimous decision.

Now on a rough patch, the 25-year-old is eager to return to winning ways against a dangerous compatriot who brings his own significant momentum into the contest. Banluelok carries a career record of 90-22 and a ONE mark of 5-1, with four finishes to his name.

"He's definitely coming in hot. A win over me could earn him a ONE contract, push him onto the big stage, or set up a rematch with Nadaka. But we'll see what happens inside the ring," Songchainoi said.

Despite Banluelok's rising momentum, Songchainoi made clear he has no intention of being a stepping stone for his fellow Thai's continued ascent. He is fully focused on using this fight to rediscover the form that once carried him to a World Title opportunity.

"I'm not letting anyone pass through me easily. I want this win to reclaim my prime form. Fans are definitely going to get an action-packed, toe-to-toe war," he said.

Looking further ahead, Songchainoi revealed his long-term vision remains firmly fixed on working his way back into title contention against Nadaka. However, he insisted on doing so the right way, stacking victories until his case becomes undeniable.

"The goal is still to build my way back up to Nadaka. I want to keep my spot at the top and keep raising my game. But I want to do it right. I want to win two, three, four, or five fights in a row first, so nobody can question it when I get that title shot again," Songchainoi said.
