Joshua Pacio Defends ONE Strawweight Title Against Mansur Malachiev On 10 July

ONE Championship has announced a strawweight title rematch for Friday, 10 July, at The Inner Circle 21, with Joshua Pacio defending his ONE Strawweight MMA World Championship against Mansur Malachiev. The event will stream on live.onefc.com.

Pacio, 30, enters with a 23-5 career record and a 14-5 mark in ONE Championship. The Filipino is a six-time strawweight king and now holds the division’s undisputed crown after regaining it in 2024 and unifying it in 2025.

The pair first met in 2023 after Pacio lost his title in December 2022. Pacio beat the then-undefeated Russian, giving Malachiev his first career defeat and starting his own championship return. Pacio now rides a three-fight winning streak.

Malachiev, 34, has a 14-1 professional record and a 4-1 ONE Championship slate, with two finishes. Since losing to Pacio, the Dagestan fighter has beaten three top-tier opponents, including former ONE World Champions Yosuke Saruta and Jarred Brooks, to earn another title shot.

Folayang also returns

Filipino veteran Eduard Folayang will also return in a lightweight MMA clash against Japan’s Shozo Isojima. The 42-year-old former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion brings 23 career wins, while the 28-year-old Japanese fighter comes in after a strong promotional debut and two straight losses.
