ONE Fight Night 49 Main Event: Gabriel vs Rasulov Confirmed
ONE Championship has revealed the main event for November's ONE Fight Night 49, and it is a lightweight MMA collision with serious divisional implications. Brazil's Lucas Gabriel will square off against Turkish wrestling ace Alibeg Rasulov on Saturday, November 7, at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.

Gabriel, a 26-year-old southpaw born in Brazil and based in Phuket, Thailand, represents Phuket Fight Club and carries a career MMA record of 11-1 with a perfect 5-0 mark inside ONE Championship. He is riding a nine-fight winning streak and has quickly become one of the most exciting names in the division.
His promotional journey began on ONE Friday Fights in 2023, where he secured three impressive victories to earn a promotion to ONE's U.S. primetime shows. After his U.S. primetime debut, Gabriel made headlines after the matchup by proposing to his longtime girlfriend.
In his most recent outing, the BJJ black belt known for his ground game claimed a razor-close split-decision win over former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon.
Alibeg Rasulov eyes return to ONE lightweight title picture
Standing across from him is the 33-year-old Rasulov, a freestyle wrestler holding a career MMA record of 14-1. He arrived in ONE Championship with a flawless 13-0 record and made an immediate statement by defeating Ok Rae Yoon via unanimous decision in his debut.
Rasulov earned a shot at Christian Lee's ONE Lightweight MMA World Championship in 2024, but the fight ended in a no contest following an accidental eye poke. He got another chance to settle the score last year, only to suffer a second-round TKO loss to Lee.
Gabriel vs Rasulov carries title implications
Now, Rasulov returns with a clear goal: take down an in-form contender and put himself back in line for a trilogy fight with Lee.
For Gabriel, a win over another established name would only strengthen his case as the next challenger.
