ONE SAMURAI 3 Results: Nadaka Yoshinari Wins Kickboxing Debut

ONE SAMURAI 3 lit up Yokohama Buntai on Saturday, September 12, as Japan's finest across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA delivered a night of high-level action inside the circle.

In the main event, ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka Yoshinari made a seamless move to kickboxing, weathering an aggressive opening round from Har Ling Om before finding his rhythm in round two with sharp counters, back-to-back head kicks, and a spinning backfist.

Nadaka turned up the pressure in the final round, and although Har Ling Om showed tremendous durability absorbing the onslaught, he had no answer for the champion's speed. A piercing front kick, a one-two, and a spectacular flying knee sealed the shutout unanimous decision.

Yuya Wakamatsu stops Willie van Rooyen in co-main event

In the co-main event, former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Yuya Wakamatsu pursued takedowns aggressively from the opening bell against Willie van Rooyen, who used his length and scrambling ability to keep the fight standing and land sharp counters along the ropes.

The dynamic shifted in round two when Wakamatsu stepped into the pocket after Van Rooyen defended a takedown, uncorking a massive left hand that badly hurt the South African and prompted the ringside doctor to wave off the contest at 4:34.
