ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion "Reug Reug" Oumar Kane has revealed he has fielded multiple acting opportunities, including a Marvel film offer, but remains focused on cementing his legacy as MMA's greatest heavyweight.
The 33-year-old Senegalese icon stands 6 feet tall and weighs around 120 kilograms, carrying the physical presence Hollywood craves. His journey from traditional Senegalese wrestling to MMA superstardom has captivated fans worldwide, making him an attractive prospect for action films.

With his rising profile came opportunities beyond fighting. Kane revealed he was approached to star alongside UFC heavyweight Ciryl Gane in the martial arts film "K.O." but couldn't participate due to injury.
"I love movies, martial arts movies in particular. There was one starring Ciryl Gane called 'K.O.' The film studio asked me to be in the 'K.O.' movie with Ciryl Gane, but because I was injured, I couldn't do it," Kane said.
Even more intriguing was the Marvel Studios pitch. Kane acknowledged the prestige such an opportunity represents but ultimately decided the time commitment would derail his fighting career at a crucial moment.
"I was pitched to be in a Marvel film once, but obviously it takes a lot of time to film those movies. I couldn't take a year off of fighting while I'm still trying to be the greatest in MMA," he said.
Kane's decision reflects his commitment to the sport. While many fighters would jump at a Marvel opportunity, the ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion understands he is still building his legacy and cannot afford extended absences from competition.
The door to acting remains open, however. Kane has a passion for martial arts cinema and envisions eventually making the transition when the timing is right.
"As long as it doesn't interfere with my MMA career. When the time is right and the schedule fits, I'm definitely going to do it. Martial arts movies are my thing, and one day, I could see myself go into acting when I'm ready," Kane said.
