U15, U20 Asian Wrestling Championship 2026: India Names 60-member Wrestling Squad For Pattaya
India will send a 60-member wrestling squad to the 2026 U15 & U20 Asian Wrestling Championships in Pattaya, Thailand, from June 27 to July 5, 2026. The team includes reigning continental champions, domestic league stars and junior prospects across men’s freestyle, Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling.
The U15 group begins competition on June 27, while the U20 events start on June 30. Wrestling Federation of India President Mr Sanjay Kumar Singh said the squad was chosen after domestic trials and expected a strong medal tally from the group in Pattaya.
Mansi & Ronak to lead U20 squad
Mansi Lather leads the U20 women’s team at 68kg after winning gold at the U23 Asian Wrestling Championships. Ronak heads the U20 men’s freestyle heavyweight class at 125kg. Neeraj Patel, bronze medallist at the U23 Asian Wrestling Championships, anchors the U20 Greco-Roman line-up.
Other notable U20 women include Parveen, Muskan, Kajal, Manya Rajput, Komal, Savita, Manisha and Kajal. In men’s freestyle, the list features Rohit, Pushp, Pavan Dhygude Dipanshu, Sumitkumar Laxman Bharskar, Adarsh Yuvraj Patil, Saurabh Yadav, Sahil Dalal, Nikhil and Lucky.
The U20 Greco-Roman team also includes Suraj, Aryan Malik, Anuj, Vinit, Dheeraj Kumar Malik, Himanshu, Vikash Dalal, Akshay Rana and Dishant. The U15 squads feature Vinakshi, Dipanshi, Jatin, Arman, Paryas Dhounchak and Kushal Kajal among others.
