There have long been speculations about Bryan Danielson calling it a quit in his pro-wrestling career and it could eventually be coming to an end at the AEW All In stadium show waiting for later this month.
On the latest episode of Dynamite, the current number-one contender for the AEW World Title has just upped the stakes for his shot against the World Champion Swerve Strickland at All In by putting his career on the line.

A heated promo exchange went down between the two on last night's edition of the show where Strickland was pointing out Danielson's physical failings in recent times and that the title wasn't the ultimate award he should look forward to in regards to his career.
In response, Danielson decided to finish up with his in-ring career if he failed to defeat Strickland for the AEW world title at All In. Strickland shook his hands and said that Danielson didn't need to keep his promise to him but to his own family.
During his promo segment, the 43-year-old veteran also mentioned how he had promised his family about never signing a full-time wrestling contract again following the current AEW contract expiry as his days to be a full-time performer are over.
For the record, Danielson has yet to capture the prized title in the AEW despite his multi-year tenure in the company where he got several opportunities to win the title. In the latest, he earned the opportunity by winning this year's Men's Owen Hart Foundation tournament.
Danielson will also compete on next week's episode of Dynamite. After the promo session on Dynamite, he ran into Jeff Jarrett, backstage who was trying to further inspire him. But that led to the setup of a one-on-one bout, instead.
As for Strickland, AEW All In 2024 marks the overall fifth defense of his first run with the world title. Previously, he faced Danielson in a singles bout on an October 2023 episode of Dynamite where he came up short.
