Bryan Danielson simply refused to go quietly into the sunset of his career at All In 2024 but rather earned the biggest achievement of his All Elite Wrestling tenure by winning the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
In the main event of All In from the Wembley Stadium in London, England, Bryan Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland (c) via Submission to win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship where the former's career was also on the line.

During the match, Danielson had his wife Brie Garcia, their daughter Birdie, and their son Buddy sitting in the front row cheering for him. A spot was there in the match where Strickland beat him down at ringside and made a mockery of his family.
Strickland's arch-rival Hangman Adam Page appeared in the crowd to distract him during the match as the security needed to hold him back from entering the ring. The distraction allowed Danielson to hit a Busaiku Knee for a near fall.
Ultimately, Danielson tapped Strickland out with the cross-arm-bar submission in what marked the first submission loss for the latter. Following the win, he celebrated in the ring with his family alongside Blackpool Combat Club stablemates Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta.
It's the first time that Danielson has won the AEW world title in his career. Per the recent reports, he will now spend the final few months of his full-time in-ring career as AEW World Champion.

A new AEW Women's World Champion was crowned in the second match of All In where Mariah May defeated "Timeless" Toni Storm (c) to win the title in front of a packed hometown crowd.
The finish of the match saw Storm refusing to hit May with a shoe. This kindness shown by Storm turned out to be fatal as May jumped up to deliver a pair of knee strikes and then a Storm Zero secured the pin-fall victory.
This is the first time that Mariah May has held a title in AEW since debuting for the promotion in November 2023. Storm, on the other hand, had been AEW Women's World Champion since last November in what was her third reign with the championship.
