AEW Double or Nothing 2024: Multiple returns take place at annual PPV

Ending speculations over his career, AEW's one of the "four pillars" MJF has finally returned to TV at Double or Nothing 2024 edition to light things up for the PPV and announced that he's not "f**king leaving" the company.

In the second segment of Double or Nothing 5-year anniversary main show, Adam Cole came out to the ring for a promo with Tony Schiavone. After mentioning "The Devil", the lights went out and a quick video played before MJF's music hit the arena.

Cole immediately asked for a hug for a reunion. MJF gave a positive nod to it by hugging it out with him but he immediately followed up with a low blow before planting him with a brain buster.

This marked the first meeting between MJF and Cole since the latter turned on MJF at Worlds End and revealed himself to be The Devil who was harassing MJF for months. The appearance also affirmed that his contract with AEW has been renewed.

Moving in Double or Nothing 2024, Adam Copeland aka Edge (c) defeated Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match to retain the TNT Championship. Copeland's former Brood-mate Gangrel made his return on the Sunday PPV to help him leave with the title.

Malakai Black's House of Black members Brody King and Buddy Matthews came out during Copeland and Black's barbed wire cage match. The trio wrapped Copeland with barbed wire when Gangrel came out underneath the ring and sprayed red mist on Buddy.

After delivering two Impaler DDTs to both Matthews and King to take them out, Copeland was back on his feet as he put away Black with a Spear. The champion ultimately won by passing Black out with a crossface submission with barbed wire.

Juice Robinson also made his return during Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas as he aided his Bang Bang Gang teammates in defeating Death Triangle in a match for the Unified World Trios Championships.

Death Triangle's PAC was about to hit Black Arrow to Jay White when Robinson returned to interfere PAC. This allowed White to hit a Blade Runner on PAC and gain the pin-fall win to retain the title.
