AEW Double or Nothing 2024: Two more title matches announced for PPV

The fifth anniversary of All Elite Wrestling’s flagship pay-per-view program, Double or Nothing will be celebrated this weekend in the Sin City, and as always a packed card will be waiting for us. Two more title matches have been now added to the show.

On last night’s episode of Dynamite, it was confirmed that the FTW Championship will be on the line, as champion Chris Jericho will defend the belt against Hook and Katsuyori Shibata in a three-way match.

Hook vs. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Bryan Keith in a Triple Threat Match on Dynamite ended in a Draw between Hook and Shibata as both of them had Keith in submission hold when the latter was tapping out.

This led to confusion regarding the winner of the match after the bell rang. The ring announcer said that both had won before Tony Schiavone later confirmed that the three-way match was made official for AEW Double or Nothing.

A trios match has also been announced for the PPV, with Unified Trios Champions the Bang Bang Gang (Jay White & The Gunns) squaring off against Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo, and Rey Fenix).

After suffering an attack from The Bang Bang Gang, PAC appeared in a video promo on Dynamite and said that a 3-on-1 fight wasn’t fair, and hence he’ll get his friends. Death Triangle then came out and the six started brawling to end the segment.

Responding to this happening, The Bang Bang Gang later said that they’d face Death Triangle at Double or Nothing, but would only put the titles on the line if the Lucha Bros. could defeat The Gunns on this Saturday’s Collision.

The 2024 AEW Double or Nothing 2024 pay-per-view returns in Las Vegas, Nevada this Sunday, May 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The updated match card for the annual event following this week’s Dynamite goes as follows,
