Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D returned home this week on Dynamite TV after staying out of action for nearly a year. As expected, she was featured in a promo session to give an update on health issues alongside teasing a big match.

Quenching the thirst of the AEW fans about her not-so-disclosed injury, Baker said for the last 10 months she was dealing with two herniated discs and a torn labrum. In November 2023, she suffered a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), also known as a mini-stroke.

One side of her body wasn’t responding and AEW President Tony Khan advised her to take care of herself until she’s fully healed from the symptoms which ultimately happened at Forbidden Door as she’s fully medically cleared to compete.

The AEW TBS Women’s Champion & NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone interrupted on Dynamite and said she is what a real star looks like and Britt shouldn’t steal her spotlight. This came after Baker stopped her title-win celebration at Forbidden Door.

Britt reminded that she was the first woman to be an All-Elite and competed at the first All In event. She proceeded to challenge Mercedes to a match at All In at Wembley Stadium but Mercedes declined the proposal.

In more news from AEW Dynamite, the Beach Break edition kicked off with Renee Paquette interviewing Daniel Garcia as she said that he’ll not lose to Will Ospreay later the night. MJF interrupted and offered to be in Garcia’s corner.

In the main event of Dynamite, Will Ospreay defeated Daniel Garcia to retain the AEW International Championship. MJF gave his Dynamite Diamond Ring to Garcia to use it on Ospreay for the leverage.

However, Garcia refused and Ospreay hit his finisher on him to get the win. MJF turned heel after the match and brutally assaulted Garcia to leave him in a busted-open state. MJF will now be on Saturday’s Collision to spill the bean on this heel-turn.
