Almost two weeks removed from her dual championship win at the annual AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV show, Mercedes Mone still has plans to throw a celebration around the happening which will be going down on Dynamite, tonight.
As announced on the social media handles of All Elite Wrestling, Mone will conduct a "double championship victory toast" on AEW's flagship show. This comes after her original title-winning celebration was scrapped from last week's episode.

Despite being advertised, no such celebration segment was there on Dynamite but rather an angle was shown where the former WWE Superstar by the name of Sasha Banks went face-to-face with Dr. Britt Baker.
As mentioned above, Mercedes Mone already had the AEW TBS Championship but then she became a double champion by winning the NJPW Strong Women's Championship from Stephanie Vaquer in a title vs. title match at Forbidden Door.
Following that match, Mone was interrupted by the returning Baker who opted to ruin the celebratory moments. On Dynamite, Baker also challenged Mone to a match for the titles at All In but that was denied.
In a promo, Baker confirmed dealing with herniated discs, a torn hip labrum, and going through mental emptiness that further led to being diagnosed with a transient ischemic attack (a mini-stroke). Being healthy to perform, she chose to go after a money match against Mone.
Time will tell if AEW continues this storyline on Dynamite projecting a big match at All In where the men's World Champion Swerve Strickland will be in action and hence, he will be back on AEW programming, this week.
After successfully retaining the world title against Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door, Strickland's appearance on tonight's Dynamite has been confirmed to possibly scout his next opponent. Ospreay will also be there on the show for a promo segment.
The July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite takes place at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where the two Owen Hart Foundation Cup final matches will also go down. At a glance, the match card for the show goes as follows:
