AEW Dynamite: Kazuchika Okada debuts to re-form The Elite

Kazuchika Okada, one of the hottest free agents in professional wrestling has chosen his next destination in All Elite Wrestling by appearing on this week's AEW Dynamite and his first match as a full-time AEW wrestler will take place on Collision, this Saturday night.

The Young Bucks appeared on Dynamite and said Sting and Darby Allin cheated their way to the historic win at Revolution. They also announced their entry in the Tag Team Title tournament to determine the next champions now that those belts are vacated.

Then a huge announcement came as Matthew Jackson suspended "Hangman" Adam Page from The Elite without pay for putting his hands on 2 AEW officials (since Matt and Nick are also EVPs in AEW) at Revolution.

He then fired Kenny Omega from The Elite for missing shows for no reason. AEW Continental Crown Champion Eddie Kingston interrupted the session as a brawl broke out. The Bucks took him out using the numbers game.

NJPW veteran Kazuchika Okada then made a surprising appearance on Dynamite and it seemed that he was out to help Kingston. However, the Rainmaker started attacking him to shock the world before the Young Bucks announced him as the newest member of the AEW roster.

Okada was also revealed to be Omega's replacement on The Elite after spoilers were out before this week's Dynamite from Georgia about his incoming. PWInsider reported that the ex-Japanese star was AEW-bound.

"Sources in Japan confirmed that Kazuchika Okada traveled last weekend in Los Angeles and he is still in the United States. The expectation within Japan is that Okada will debut as an official roster member for AEW at Dynamite taping."

After finishing up with New Japan Pro-Wrestling at "The New Beginning In Sapporo" on February 24th, Okada will now be seen as a full-time competitor. He previously competed for the promotion three times in 2022 and 2023.

Plus, on the Saturday, March 9 episode of Collision, Okada will be seen in action in a trios match. The Young Bucks will team up with Okada against a team that's yet to be revealed.
