AEW Dynamite: Major heel turn; Championship match and more announced

Bengaluru, March 30: Bryan Danielson showed up on AEW TV, last night on Dynamite for the first time since losing a 60-Minute Iron Man Match to MFJ for the AEW World Championship at Revolution and shocked the pro-wrestling fans via a heel-turn.

On AEW Dynamite, the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega retained his title against Jeff Cobb by hitting his One Winged Angel finisher.

After the match, The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) arrived when Danielson's music hit and he seemingly arrived in the ring to stop his stablemates from an attack on Kenny.

After Kenny tried to take out BCC using his title, Bryan came from the other side and took him out with a Busaiku Knee before applying his pendant LeBell Lock to reveal his evil intentions.

With Bryan going heel, Team BCC is standing at full strength. Previously, they took out The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson). Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta had attacked Adam Page earlier on Dynamite.

In more news from Dynamite, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) made an offer to the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Gunns (Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) which they couldn't refuse.

Per AEW's announcement, The Gunns will put their tag team titles on the line against FTR next Wednesday on Dynamite with the stipulation that if Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler lose the match, their AEW career will be over.

Apart from this main event match, the Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) will be on Dynamite to explain their actions primarily due to Bryan's heel-turn on Kenny Omega.

Also, Finally, AEW World Champion MJF will celebrate "MJF Day" in his hometown. MJF featured in a brawl with 'Jungle Boy' Jack Perry, this week, hinting that the two could be competing in a title match, next.
