This week's Dynamite continued the build toward the upcoming Dynasty PPV event with the inclusion of a new match into the card. Kazuchika Okada accepted PAC's challenge for a match on the show set for April 21.
PAC came out to have a staredown with Okada. But as he was heading toward the ring, he was jumped by The Young Bucks. FTR came out to make the save but was taken out by Okada with a steel chair.

The Young Bucks connected with the EVP trigger on FTR while Okada struck PAC with the chair to finish the segment. Following this, the singles contest between Pac and Okada has been made official for Dynasty.
PAC made his return to AEW, saving Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo from an attack by The Young Bucks and Okada. He is also looking forward to gaining the Continental Title while the Bucks will face FTR in the AEW tag team tournament final at Dynasty.
An FTW Title match has been added to Battle of the Belts X as confirmed on Dynamite. Previously, AEW's Tony Khan announced that Hook would defend the title against Shane Taylor on the Saturday, April 13 event and that lineup was retained.
An International title eliminator match has also been announced for Battle of the Belts, with International Champion Roderick Strong defending the belt against Rocky Romero. The current lineup for the 10th edition of the quarterly TV special is given below:
In more news from Dynamite, two matches have been announced for next week's episode. In the opening match of the April 10 episode, Adam Copeland defeated Penta El Zero Miedo to retain the TNT Championship.
After the TNT title bout ended via Copeland's spear on Penta on Dynamite, the arena lights went out. Hart and King then appeared in the ring, and King attacked Copeland. Willow Nightingale then ran in to make the save.
Following this altercation, the TNT Champion Adam Copeland & Willow Nightingale vs. Brody King & TBS Champion Julia Hart in a mixed tag team match is set for Dynamite. Willow will also challenge Hart for the TBS Title at Dynasty.
