Bengaluru, March 2: The final Casino Tag Team Battle Royale before AEW Revolution 2023 went down this week on Dynamite where Orange Cassidy and Danhausen replaced Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Beretta).

The duo eventually emerged as the winners and will now get a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships at the upcoming PPV event. Best Friends weren't medically cleared to compete as they were assaulted by The Gunns and Big Bill last Friday Night on Rampage.

The other teams from the latest battle royal on AEW TV featured Lucha Brothers, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin), RUSH and Perro Peligroso, The Butcher and The Blade, Aussie Open, 2point0, The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett), Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds).

Silver and Reynolds made the first entry but they were attacked by Castagnoli and Yuta on their way to the ring. RUSH and Perro Peligroso were the third team to enter the match followed by Rey Fenix and Penta, Aussie Open, 2point0, Top Flight, The Kingdom, and the eventual winners.

Dark Order was the first team to be eliminated from the battle royal. The finishing moments saw Danhusen toppling The Butcher and The Blade over the top rope despite distraction from the Dark Order to secure the victory.

That being said, Danhausen and Orange Cassidy will compete against The Acclaimed, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, and defending champions The Gunns in a fatal-4-way match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at the Revolution pay-per-view event, this Sunday.

The go-home edition of AEW Rampage for the Revolution PPV will be presented this Friday night from the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California and the main event for the night has been announced on Dynamite.

Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes will team up against Swerve Strickland and Parker Boudreaux on Rampage. The match was announced after Lee and Rhodes appeared in a video promo together, this week on Dynamite.

This match marks Keith Lee's return to AEW in-ring competition. The former WWE NXT Champion was last seen in action at the Ring of Honor Final Battle pay-per-view event on December 10, 2022.

Strickland turned heel on Lee on the December 21, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite as he took out The Limitless One with the help of Mogul Affiliates (Parker Boudreaux and Trench).

After going their separate ways, Lee made his return from storyline injury on the February 17, 2023, edition of AEW Rampage to save Dustin Rhodes from Strickland and Parker Boudreaux.

In more announcements for Rampage, a Fatal-4-Way match has been made official in the wake of the bygone Casino Battle Royal Matches ahead of Revolution.

As announced by AEW on social media, The Aussie Open will compete against Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta, Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin), and Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds)
