Bengaluru, February 16: As announced on AEW Dynamite, the AEW Revolution pay-per-view will feature a fatal-4-way match on the card for AEW World Tag Team Championships.
The Gunns will defend their titles against three other teams with one of them being confirmed in the form of The Acclaimed. The other two teams will be determined through a series of battle royals on AEW's weekly TV.
One of those traditional tag team battle royale matches will go down, next week on Dynamite. The winners will advance to AEW Revolution, to secure the third spot in the fatal-4-way match for the AEW world tag team titles. No update is there regarding the second battle royale.
Also, AEW confirmed Evil Uno of The Dark Order vs. Jon Moxley in a singles competition, next week Dynamite. The match was booked after Dark Order came to rescue Adam Page during a segment with Jon Moxley this week on Dynamite.
Mox and Page had a heated exchange on the show before Mox laid down a challenge for a Texas Death Match, right there on the show. Page had no problems with the stipulation and the match has now been confirmed for Revolution.
As for next week's Dynamite, the show will be hosted from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on February 22. The currently confirmed match card for the show stands as follows:
- Jon Moxley vs. Evil Uno
- Traditional Tag Team Battle Royale
A rematch is likely to headline this week's episode of AEW Rampage. Previously, The Elite successfully defended the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championship against Top Flight and AR Fox, last week on Dynamite.
Now, they're set for another collision on Rampage after a backstage segment between The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) and Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin), and AR Fox. Omega accepted the thrown challenge for the titles on behalf of his team.
Jade Cargill will defend her TBS Championship in an open challenge against VertVixen. Plus, the veteran Goldust will be seen in action against a former NXT Superstar.
The February 17 edition of AEW Rampage will air at a special start time of 7:00 PM ET on the TBS Network with the following match card:
- AEW World Trios Tag Team Championship Match: The Elite (c) vs. Top Flight & AR Fox
- TBS Championship Match: Jade Cargill (c) vs. VertVixen
- Ricky Starks vs. Daniel Garcia
- Dustin Rhodes vs. Swerve Strickland
