AEW Dynamite: TBS Champion Loses Bodyguard; Battle Royal Set For December 4 Episode

In a major development from the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, the reigning TBS Champion Mercedes Mone lost the bodyguard Kamille by her side. Thus, the CEO of Mone Corp will now be going solo on TV.

Mone and Kamille were initially invited to Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite by Tony Schiavone for a Mone title celebration. Mone announced on the ramp that she was there to celebrate despite Kamille failing to do things right on her behalf.

This was a reference to a botched distraction during Saturday's AEW Full Gear against Kris Statlander. Before that, Kamille also failed to take out Statlander in a singles match on Dynamite and henceforth, went into the doghouse of Mone.

Due to this, Mone was about to fire Kamille from her bodyguard position but the latter instead took the mic and said that Mone couldn't fire her because she quit. She walked out of the scene, leaving Mone irate.

Debuting last summer in All Elite Wrestling, Kamille was added to the Mone act as the bodyguard. She had helped Mone in retaining her title on multiple occasions in the past but now, it appears a feud between the two is coming.

Mercedes Mone made her AEW debut in March at the Big Business Dynamite special in her hometown of Boston. The former WWE Superstar then had her first match in May at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, defeating Willow Nightingale for the TBS title.

In more news from AEW Dynamite, the sixth-ever annual Dynamite Dozen battle royal will be one of the featured matches on next week's episode where 12 men will complete in an over-the-top scenario.

The battle royal winner will then advance to the following Wednesday's Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite against MJF for the Dynamite Diamond ring on the line. The former World Champion is the only one to have captured the ring in AEW history.

AEW Dynamite December 4 episode match card

Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly are the first two entrants in the battle royal. The Continental Classic tournament will also go down on the December 4 episode of AEW Dynamite from the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana that's coming with the following match card:

• Continental Classic Gold league: Brody King vs. Claudio Castagnoli
