The new addition to the All Elite Wrestling schedule, the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view is slated for this weekend and new matches have been added to the card. FTW Champion HOOK will go through his next title defense on the show.
Former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho will be his opponent as announced on the latest episode of Dynamite. Jericho and HOOK have worked as allies in recent weeks but they came face-to-face on last night's show.

Joined by his father and AEW commentator Taz in the ring, HOOK told Jericho that he no longer needs his help and that he can do it alone in the ring. Taz tried to calm things down between the two.
But Jericho claimed that the youngster should cut negative influences from life to which HOOK reacted negatively and sent him a warning. It was later announced that HOOK vs. Jericho for the FTW title will take place at Dynasty.
HOOK is currently in his second reign with the FTW Title and he has held it since August after defeating Jack Perry at All In, thus surpassing 230 days with the belt. His first reign with the title also lasted over 350 days.
A new match has been added to Dynasty after the Bang Bang Gang, comprised of Jay White alongside Ring of Honor Six-Man Tag Team Champions, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn issued a challenge to The Scissor Gang's Billy Gunn, Max Caster, and Anthony Bowens.
After Billy Gunn cut a promo over the AEW World Trios Championship, it was later announced that the match would be a winner-take-all match for both the AEW and ROH set of trios championships.
The 2024 AEW Dynasty pay-per-view is scheduled for Sunday, April 21, at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri and it now has 10 overall matches on the match card as given below:
