New matches for the upcoming AEW Full Gear pay-per-view have been announced on last night’s weekly episode of Dynamite to load things up for the card for one of the Big Four events in All Elite Wrestling.

We now know that MJF will be facing Roderick Strong at Full Gear in his returning match to TV. Strong defeated Lance Archer in a falls count anywhere match Wednesday to go 3-0 in a spree of winning matches in comparison to friend Adam Cole.

Later the night on Dynamite, AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita used MJF’s Dynamite diamond ring to defeat Cole, putting him at 2-1 in his last three matches, and as such he failed to get his shot at MJF.

After the match, MJF appeared in a quick pre-taped segment to send a message. Strong vs. MJF would be a first-time-ever match on AEW TV and MJF’s first one since September’s All Out when he defeated Daniel Garcia.

MJF previously declared that in order for Cole or Strong to challenge him in a match at Full Gear, they must have to win three straight matches. As such both men needed to win three straight matches to set up a three-way instead.

Will Ospreay & Kyle Fletcher, two former tag team partners and friends will also go head-to-head at next Saturday’s PPV. After just a week Ospreay made his return to AEW TV, he featured in a promo segment with Fletcher to confirm the match.

Fletcher wanted to attack Ospreay by bringing in Brian Cage & Lance Archer by his side by the end of the segment. But, Ospreay saw the attack coming and had Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs as backup to start a brawl.

The 2024 AEW Full Gear pay-per-view takes place Saturday, November 23 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey which marks the second-last PPV show of the year in All Elite Wrestling. The current match card for the show goes as follows:
