Despite the fact Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are set to battle it out in the third match of their ongoing feud, AEW hasn't booked that one for the upcoming Revolution pay-per-view event and rather replaced that match.
Following the interference from the TNT Champion Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick and Shayna Wayne in last week's number one contender's match between Adam Copeland and Daniel Garcia, the latter emerged to be the next challenger for the title.

As announced on this week's episode of Dynamite, Garcia will indeed go on to challenge Cage at AEW Revolution in a singles encounter. Following this announcement, Garcia thanked the fans for their support.
Garcia also stated how he started to lose confidence but all he needs is just three seconds for the pin-fall count. Fans were further thanked for always picking him up and helping him to restore that feeling where he could believe to be the winner.
Garcia also threw a shoutout to the Rated-R Superstar by stating the following, "It's not over between you and I because I am gonna see you again. But you better believe that the next time you see me, I will be holding the TNT title."
The Patriarchy interrupted and Christian said that he doesn't think Garcia is ready for Revolution. Christian claimed that Garcia is rather distracted by worrying about the fans, their reactions, and whether they're happy to see him.
Christian also mentioned how Garcia had a father who was nothing but a loser alcoholic who further lost his battle in life. So, rather than being just an opponent to Garcia at Revolution, he wants to be his new Father.
The segment ended with Cage's heel-talk as Garcia was fuming in the ring. At this point, Copeland isn't booked for Revolution after receiving a con-chair-to from Cage on last week's Dynamite but he's expected to seek vengeance at the PPV.
Also during this week's Dynamite, FTR vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) ended in a Time Limit Draw. After the match, FTR challenged Moxley and Castagnoli to a rematch at Revolution which was later made official.
The 2024 edition of AEW Revolution pay-per-view is set to take place on March 2nd at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina. The confirmed match card for the PPV is given below:
