The joint venture of All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling will present Forbidden Door to the fans a few months from now. Previous reports claimed this one to be a stadium show which won't be the case, now.
After speculations ran for a few weeks, NJPW officially announced via Twitter that the next venue for the Forbidden Door 2024 edition will be in Long Island, New York at the UBS Arena. It's slated for Sunday, June 30.

The first instalment of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door went down at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois showcasing a headliner match between Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi competing for the interim AEW World Championship.
The second edition of the cross-brand event went down at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and featured a dream first-time-ever main event between Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada in a historic showdown.
AEW's growing network of partnerships reportedly paved the way for Forbidden Door III to be an outdoor show from the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York but those plans were scrapped in the following course.
Andrew Zarian reported on his Beyond the Bell podcast that the annual Forbidden Door event in association with NJPW was canceled from the famous venue. Fightful Select further informed that NJPW was not willing to split the costs with AEW to book the stadium.
Apart from Forbidden Door, the annual Grand Slam edition of Dynamite was also supposed to go down from the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York and this tradition is assumed to be kept intact since it's a solo AEW project.
For the time being, AEW is focused on the next two pay-per-views, the inaugural AEW Dynasty on April 21 and the Big-Four event Double or Nothing on May 26, returning to its home territory of Las Vegas, Nevada.
