Bengaluru, December 8: WWE Monday Night Raw's Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks create history during the live event in Abu Dhabi on Thursday (December 7).

WWE roster is on their way to India for the live event on Saturday. But before that, they have stopped over in another eastern region country of United Arab Emirates where two house shows will be hosted in Abu Dhabi on two consecutive nights.

In case you didn’t know, tonight the live crowd will witness a Wrestlemania rematch between Triple H and Roman Reigns and as per recent reports the match will be contested for the intercontinental title.

As for as yesterday’s show, the audience at Zayed Sports City Tennis Stadium in Abu Dhabi witnessed a historical match between two of the prime female superstars in the WWE.

In one of the main events from last night, the WWE Raw women’s championship was defended successfully by Alexa Bliss against Sasha Banks.

The match made history since never before in Abu Dhabi, two women were allowed to wrestle inside the squared circle due to the conservative rules of the Gulf, no match that featured the female wrestlers could be organized by the WWE.

With the perception gradually changing, this was first-time that the audience got to witness their favorite female stars tearing the house down.

With that being said, the match was a marquee attraction of the night. Now that the female stars were able to perform, here, WWE might recruit new talents from this country and let more of the women performers achieve their dreams to become a pro-wrestler.

This year has been quite eventful for the women’s division as we witnessed multiple gimmick matches including the first-ever Hell in a Cell and Money in the Bank ladder match. But, with this match in Abu Dhabi, the women’s evolution has reached a new level.
