All In 2024: Popular AEW Star to miss PPV set for her home-country?

The inaugural edition of AEW All In pay-per-view was special for Saraya as she went on to win a Women's World Championship in front of her home country fans after a decade, coming out of a nearly career-ending injury.

One year removed from that show, Saraya is barely used for in-ring action and thereby lost her top status on the AEW roster. Being one of the pioneer female wrestlers of this generation, her fanbase is thereby doubting her presence in the second All In PPV.

This comes after Saraya has randomly been booked for a championship match opportunity on this week's episode of Dynamite against Toni Storm which is supposed to be a consolation prize to make up for her absence from the London show.

The outcome of this match will have significant implications for Saraya's involvement in AEW All In London. There is a strong possibility that she would fail to capture the women's world title and thereby lose the opportunity to head onto the PPV.

An AEW Women's World Championship is already scheduled for All In where the champion Toni Storm defends against Mariah May. Many believe that this lineup will remain intact given the build has been solid between these two former tag team partners.

It's also highly unlikely that the title would change hands so close to the marquee event, clearing Saraya's path to the Wembley show. This theory already created a fan backlash on social media given how popular the former WWE Divas Champion is.

Time will tell if the AEW creative team will be able to fix the situation around the ex-Paige from WWE but for the time being, she's not going to make a triumphant return to her home turf for the biggest AEW show of the year.

As mentioned above, Saraya played a crucial role at the 2023 All In by featuring in a four-way match against Hikaru Shida, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, and Toni Storm in one of the top matches of the show, creating a moment, unmatchable to replicate.
