Legends John Cena and The Rock have been advertised as WWE announced the location, date and ticket information for the post WrestleMania 41 premium live event (PLE) - WWE Backlash 2025, with the theme - the aftermath.

As the teaser suggests, the next PLE after WrestleMania in Las Vegas will feature the aftermath or the fall outs from the Showcase of Immortals, which is scheduled to take place at the Allegiant Stadium in the sin city on April 19 and 20.

The announcement follows a record-breaking Backlash in 2024, which generated the then-largest gate for any arena show in WWE history. The Premium Live Event was held in front of a sell-out crowd at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France.

While there is no official announcement of a match, the WWE teaser shows several superstars who may be involved in the upcoming Backlash 2025 PLE. As mentioned earlier, The Rock and John Cena, who are set to be involved in storyline featuring the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, could continue the rivalry after WrestleMania.

On his farewell tour, John Cena failed to win the Royal Rumble earlier this year, but managed to land his title shot at Elimination Chamber, when the seeds were planted for a storyline involving the trio heading into WM 2025.

Cena earned a chance to win the WWE title for the 17th time following the win at Chamber, where he also turned heel by siding with The Rock against Cody Rhodes, the modern day face of the company.

There is gossip that Cena will dethrone Rhodes at WrestleMania, and the future Hall of Famer could then be headlining his last Backlash appearance. It is still unclear who he faces, but WWE has teased his involment with the PLE announcement video.

When and where is WWE Backlash 2025 taking place?

The post-WrestleMania 41 PLE, WWE Backlash 2025 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 10th at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, where the promotion last hosted a pay-per-view back in 2017, when WWE Money in the Bank was staged at the venue.

When and how to book tickets for 2025 WWE Backlash?

WWE Backlash 2025 tickets will go on sale, from Friday, March 21 at 10 AM CT via Ticketmaster.com, while presale for Backlash tickets will begin Wednesday, March 19 at 10 AM CT and end Thursday, March 20 at 11:59 PM CT.
