The WWE Women's Championship will be on the line at the Bad Blood 2024 premium live event set for the first week of October where Nia Jax will defend against her current rival Bayley.
The former Women's Champion will have the chance to reclaim the title from Jax at the returning WWE PLE in Atlanta after she was able to defeat Naomi en route to becoming the new number-one contender for the women's title on SmackDown.

Naomi missed a top rope move which let Bayley connect with her signature Bayley to Belly suplex in a second attempt. Bayley rushed to the top and landed with her signature elbow to secure the win.
Once the match was over, Bayley attempted to shake Naomi's hand but Naomi instead left the ring as she was extremely upset from the loss. This possibly came as a future heel-turn teaser for the former two-time SmackDown Women's Champion.
It was two weeks ago that Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton challenged Naomi and Bayley to a match with the stipulation stating that if they pinned her or Stratton, they would get a title match at Bad Blood.
That match took place on last week's SmackDown, where both Naomi and Bayley ended up pinning Jax, together, leading to a disputed finish. Thus, the singles number-one contender's contest was set up to announce the latest match of Bad Blood.
WWE also revealed during last night's SmackDown that the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will serve as hosts for next Saturday's event that's returning after a gap of two decades.
The 2024 WWE Bad Blood 2024 premium live event takes place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, October 5. Five matches are confirmed for the PLE with one more expected to be announced Monday's Raw as given below:
