WWE has recently been resurrecting old-school pay-per-view gimmicks into their programming be it on the mainstay or NXT scene and Bad Blood could be the latest inclusion into the spree as it's reportedly returning, this fall.
The latest updates from PWInsider suggest that WWE has been considering bringing back Bad Blood (originally known as Badd Blood) pay-per-view for an upcoming premium live event (PLE) after a gap of exactly two decades.

The Badd Blood theme used to be a regular feature during WWE's Attitude Era and it was last used in 2004. For the time being, creative pitches have been made to revive the Bad Blood name for the currently empty October slot.
This timing would commemorate the anniversary of the first-ever Hell in a Cell match in WWE history at Badd Blood PPV which took place on October 5, 1997, between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels which also witnessed the bone-chilling debut of the Kane character.
More appropriately, October 5, 2024, falls on a Saturday, which makes it a fitting date for a themed event as WWE currently airs their premium live events in partnership with Peacock/WWE Network for streaming on Saturday nights.
Apart from the aforementioned matchup, Badd Blood infamously held Triple H vs. Kevin Nash in a Hell in a Cell match with Mick Foley as the special guest referee, and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in another Hell in a Cell bout.
Originally, Badd Blood was a regular event for the old-school WWF's In Your House chronology in the late 90s. After reviving it in 2003 and 2004s, the event was vanquished as WWE moved on from non-PG TV content. The current WWE PLE schedule stands as follows:
