Big planning for the Mae Young Classic Finale on WWE Network

New Delhi, Sep 9: WWE has come up with a mind-boggling idea for the female wrestlers all around the world, earlier this year.

The top names from several wrestling promotions have got an opportunity to showcase their talents on the award winning WWE Network by virtue of this.

32 competitors around the globe were called up for participating in the series that was named as the Mae Young Classic.

The telecast of the event has started from last week onwards. This was basically a follow up of the successful tournaments like Cruiserweight Classic and United Kingdom tournament which was appreciated by the critiques, mostly.

So, this was yet another first-ever move from the biggest pro-wrestling world of the world to host a tournament featuring only the women performers.

This is quite an adjacent move since the company is backing up the “Women’s Revolution” for a long time, now. According to the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the officials have planned for huge finale night for the show.

In case you don’t know, the conclusion of Mae Young Classic will be hosted on WWE Network on September 12th. As per the claiming of the source, we can expect to witness a one-hour special show on that night. It will stream immediately after Smackdown Live.

Apart from the final match between the two remaining contestants, we are expected to see at least two more matches on that night. This will feature some performers from the tournament who did not advance but was able to earn the respect of the crowd.



The finish of the tournament is expected to happen on a bigger note since we are expecting to witness a monumental confrontation between the two four-horsewomen factions in WWE and UFC.

Previously, an untelevised face-off took place during the taping. But, this time, WWE will intentionally arrange this since they are rooting for this cross-brand match in an upcoming PPV.

Apart from this, we can expect the show to be graced by some legendary female performers in the company. The current names from the roster are quite obvious to show up whereas we can expect to witness some of the former Women’s Champions who is considered as the path-breakers.
