Bengaluru, March 18: A brand new storyline angle was seen from this past week’s edition of WWE Raw. It was aimed at the tag team championships. The champions didn't have any confirmed opponents for their titles, for a while now and it looked like they might have to sit out of the event, if the same situation would have continued.

However, they got an opponent after a tag team battle royal took place on the show from Detroit, Michigan and it was Braun Strowman who won the contest single handedly which is unbelievable. This man does not belong to any of the tag teams on the roster. But, he still participated and won the contest.

The stipulation of the battle royal stated that the winner will get a shot at the WWE Raw tag team championships. So, this suggests that Braun Strowman will be competing against Sheamus and Cesaro at the grandest stage of them all. However, technically it is not possible since one single superstar can’t compete in a tag team title match. So, there needs to be clarity on this situation.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided some updates on this, recently. He stated that such odd planning was there in the blueprint of the creative team for quite sometime. This is why PWInsider.com reported a surprise team will challenge The Bar for the title.

So, the same was seen on WWE Raw hosted from Detroit, Michigan where the Monster Among Men won the battle royal. Vince McMahon is the one, according to the source, who has come up with such an idea. It is still not clear whether WWE would find a partner for him for the upcoming match at Wrestlemania.

Until now, the rumours suggest that Elias might turn out to be the one who could team up with Braun Strowman to set up the WWE Raw tag team championship match at Wrestlemania. All of these four men were without contest at the biggest event of the year. Hence, this is a good idea to make a match comprising the four.
