Bray Wyatt Death: Career accomplishments and Top Matches of ex-WWE Champion

Bengaluru, August 25: Behind the terrorizing persona that Bray Wyatt used to play on WWE TV, was a creative genius that's the main reason that we have seen transitions in characters for him over the years.

The specialty of this character was that he never allowed the audience to get bored during his segments. People would rather be ecstatic to learn what next was coming from him.

Sadly, though, the former third-generation wrestler has joined his friend Brodie Lee (FKA Luke Harper of the Wyatt Family) in the world of eternity where they'd be happy to discuss more innovative things that once delighted the WWE Universe.

As informed earlier this morning by WWE head honcho, Triple H, Bray Wyatt has passed away, reportedly due to a heart attack. His condition deteriorated after contracting COVID-19 earlier this year which also forced him to miss Wrestlemania 39.

Sadly for the talented wrestler, nightmare booking was the prime barrier when it came to career accomplishments. Whenever he looked to build momentums, a so-called WWE Legend would squash and send him back in the line.

Championship achievements of Bray Wyatt's career

Despite all the shortcomings, Bray Wyatt managed to establish himself as a multi-time champion in the WWE. He's a three-time world champion in the company. At a glance, his overall accomplishments are given below:

• 2 Time Universal Champion

• 1 Time WWE Champion

• 1 Time Raw Tag Team Champion

• 1 Time Smackdown Tag Team Champion

• Male Wrestler of the Year (2019)

• Tag Team Eliminator Winner (2018)

Win-loss percentage of Bray Wyatt's career

Starting from the 2013 Summerslam, Bray Wyatt had competed in 1077 matches in his career, as per a report from CageMatch. 58 televised pay-per-view bouts were there in his career but he ended up losing most of those.

Out of those 1077 matches, Wyatt won only 427 while he lost 637 of those. That being said, his losing percentage in his career is 59.1% which isn't really a matchup to top WWE Superstar's worth.

This once again points out the fact that WWE always treated him like a jobber to their so-called Legends like The Undertaker, Randy Orton, John Cena, Goldberg, Roman Reigns, and many more.

Performing in Interesting Gimmick Matches

The entertaining character of Bray Wyatt allowed the WWE to host a number of gimmick matches starting from his very first match which took place at Summerslam 2013 which was a rare Inferno Match against Kane in the PG Era.

For the second time in his career, he competed in an Inferno Match against Randy Orton at TLC 2020. Interestingly, in this match, Orton actually burnt him fully to win the match which was another rare occasion in the modern era.

Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton went down at Payback 2017 under the House of Horrors gimmick where WWE filmed these two at the Wyatt compound but ultimately that match ended up being a horrifying experience for the WWE Universe.

Rectifying the previous errors, WWE booked him in a Wyatt Swamp Fight at Extreme Rules 2020 against Braun Strowman that was far more entertaining. Then there was a forgettable Ultimate Deletion Match (WWE's version of The Hardy Compound) also featuring Matt & Jeff Hardy.

Last but not least, Bray Wyatt also delivered the only Firefly Funhouse Match in the WWE to defeat John Cena which was barely a wrestling match but a "go-as-you-like" competition where the two tried to outdo each other by rekindling legendary WWE Superstars and their gimmicks.
