Bengaluru, August 29: Charlotte Flair has not appeared Smackdown Live for over three weeks of time. The last time she was seen on the show was on August 8th which was taped at Toronto, Canada. The very next week, her father, Ric Flair was admitted to the hospital to fix some heart-related issues.
After some diagnosis, the doctors induced him to a coma and performed a successful operation. It was done on August 14th in Atlanta with his entire family alongside including Charlotte. This was the reason she was not present in any of the proceedings on road to Summerslam.
Thankfully, for the creative team of the WWE, The Queen was not involved in any of the storylines for the biggest event of the summer. Hence, her absence from the PPV was not felt much. However, the Smackdown women's division can't run without a heavyweight name like her.
So, with the Nature Boy recovering gradually, the question was that when we could expect to see her on board. Charlotte made the very first public appearance at the Chicago Comic Con hinting that she will be back in the roster.

Following it, she posted a tweet on her official account that mentioned she would be performing on the WWE house shows. Plus, this upcoming edition of Smackdown Live will witness her return to live TV. This is good news for her fans for sure as well as the Women's division.
This episode will take place at Little Rocks, Arkansas where we can expect her to not only make her return but to be involved in a new storyline and it could be against Lana with whom she had a short match before her absence.

She can go after the Smackdown women's championship as well considering a heel superstar is holding the title currently. Till date, we have not received any update for the future of the title. So, we are eager to find out what is next in this matter going forward.
Additionally, Charlotte also gave an update on her father's latest condition which was positive.
Check out her quotes from Instagram,
“After an incredibly hard week, my dad is getting better. There is still a long road to go and he\'s not out of the woods just yet but I want to again thank everyone for their support on behalf of myself and my family. My dad has given his life to sports entertainment. To everyone competing tonight, you know he'd be backstage watching if he could. Give it a little extra flair for him tonight. Woooo!”
