Clash at the Castle 2024: Top WWE Raw star eyeing dream title win scenario

After a year's gap, WWE is bringing back Clash at the Castle premium live event in the United Kingdom and it's easy to predict that a native name from that region would be headlining the show.

That brings us to Drew McIntyre from WWE Raw who has long been eyeing for a championship win in front of the fans. For almost five minutes, he got to have that moment at WrestleMania XL before Damian Priest ruined it with Money in the Bank cash-in.

Desperate for revenge, The Scottish Warrior is targeting Clash at the Castle to have the rematch against Priest and eventually win the title in a dream scenario in front of his friends and family.

Speaking to PWInsiderElite, McIntyre addressed his pending bout against Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. Though there is no date confirmed for the match, the challenger wished to have it scheduled in Scotland.

"I would like to have that title match if he's still the champion in Scotland and finally having that moment with the title and actually keep the title. I could never imagined it could potentially be in Glasgow so that's my dream scenario."

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre kicked things off and stated that he will not waste any more time with CM Punk since Punk might not get cleared to wrestle in 20 more years.

Damian Priest was then mentioned by him as the Paper World Champion, and that the Raw brand needed him to be Champion again. Priest arrived at the ring and wanted to give him a title shot if and when he gets medically cleared to compete.

Following this, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested that Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship is the current plan for the main event of Clash at the Castle 2024 from the latter's home country.

The 2024 Clash at the Castle premium live event has been confirmed to take place on Saturday, June 15 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. This would be the second-only edition of the PLE following the inaugural one in 2022 from Cardiff, Wales.
