Being the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes has become the new face of the company in the absence of Roman Reigns and he's expectedly going through a hectic schedule. Apart from his stomping grounds of SmackDown, he will also appear, live on NXT.
WWE officially made the announcement during last night's Raw that Rhodes is set to appear on the June 11 NXT TV episode set for tonight. No further update was provided regarding the reason behind him heading to NXT.

The first tease of this appearance was made through a social media post by Rhodes, himself during this past Sunday's NXT Battleground PPV before things were officially announced on Monday night. Now, the updated lineup for the June 11 episode goes as follows:
Cody Rhodes has also been confirmed to appear on the June 14 episode of SmackDown alongside his Clash at the Castle opponent AJ Styles just hours before they engage in a battle over the Undisputed WWE Championship.
The announcement regarding Rhodes and Styles appearing this Friday Night under the same roof came through a promo video during Monday's Raw. Rhodes vs. Styles II in an I Quit match was confirmed, last week.
This came after Styles played a ruse of retirement and lured Rhodes into the ring for a sudden attack with The OC partners standing by his side, two weeks ago. Rhodes has since been looking for revenge against The Phenomenal One.
Also announced for the June 14 episode of SmackDown is Kevin Owens continuing his feud with The Bloodline as he goes one-on-one with Solo Sikoa. At a glance, the current match card for the show goes as follows:
