CM Punk is keen to slap the sh*** out of John Cena at the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, but WWE may have some other plans in-store for the men's Chamber match, which is set to headline the PLE on March 1st in Toronto, Canada.
John Cena declared his entry into the men's Chamber match right after he lost the Royal Rumble match, while CM Punk joined him in the match via a qualifier against Sami Zayn on Raw after Rumble.

In a recent chat with UFC legends Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonen on the Good Guy / Bad Guy podcast, CM Punk expressed his displeasure about his qualification process and Cena's automatic entry.
"So I'm looking at the Chamber like, 'Oh, Cena has a buy? Cena just gets to be in it?' Okay, Mr. Budapest, I'm filming Matchbox Cars in Budapest. I'm gonna just disappear and I get a gift. I want to qualify for the Chamber so I could slap the sh** out of John Cena," Punk said on the podcast as quoted by WrestlingNoticias.
CM Punk and even Drew McIntyre, who booked his EC match spot on SmackDown may also feel the same, but WWE reportedly has big plans for Cena at the event, meaning his entry was expected to happen regardless of getting a free pass from WWE's CCO Triple H. Here is the Elimination Chamber 2025 spoiler:
According to Dave Meltzer of the WrestlingObserver, WWE has indeed made plans for John Cena to headline WrestleMania 41 back in October or November. Cena is expected to challenge WWE Universal champion Cody Rhodes at the Showcase of Immortals in April.
As John Cena is on his farewell tour and will be competing in his last WrestleMania, Meltzer made another huge revelation. Meltzer added that the story is Cena will go for the record 17th world title.
"Cena, in his final year, having an emotional passing of the torch while losing and endorsing Rhodes would have been best for business had this come up any other year," Meltzer said as quoted by NoDQ.com, before adding that Cena will indeed even beat Cody Rhodes at Mania.
"The older retiring guy putting over the current biggest star. But it really doesn't matter. Wrestlemania is setting records no matter what you put on, and putting the title on a part-timer like Cena is really just fine because at this point it's about making moments."
