Ex-WWE Star Ronda Rousey announces second pregnancy at San Diego Comic Con

One of the global brand ambassadors of the sports entertainment genre, Ronda Rousey admittedly has no intention to make a comeback to the circuit as she has priorities with her family, and hence a pregnancy announcement appears to be no surprise.

The former WWE and UFC star announced that she's pregnant with her second child at the San Diego Comic-Con. She was there at the event to launch a Kickstarter campaign for her new graphic novel, "Expecting the Unexpected."

Appearing at the SDCC for a panel with fellow WWE veteran Dave Bautista, Ronda Rousey made the personal news public which was also reported by People by then. Before this, she welcomed her first daughter, La'akea Makalapuakalanipō, with her husband Travis Browne in 2021.

The UFC Hall of Famer is also a stepmother to Browne's two sons from his previous marriage. Stepping away from the WWE & UFC was a pre-approved decision as she wants to be a mother to many as admitted by her in recent interviews.

With the pregnancy news confirmed, there's no chance that she would be back in the squared circle or the Octagon, shortly. Besides, she's just started the latest creative endeavor as an author of a comic super-woman.

Her new graphic novel is now available via Kickstarter with a $20,000 goal. Written by the former WWE star, the project has been edited by former Editor in Chief of Marvel Axel Alonso, and with art from "Avengers" and "The Flash" artist Mike Deodato Jr.

The storyline of this comic features a hired assassin code-named "Mom" who keeps her weapons in a fake baby bump. Inspired by Rousey's martial arts background, this character is poised to "create the most accurate and action-packed fight scenes in comics."

Before introducing this cartoon character, Ronda Rousey already offered the second part of her autobiography, earlier this year where she went on a rant against multiple former WWE Officials headed by the ex-CEO of the company Vince McMahon.

Having her final match in the WWE, a loss to Shayna Baszler at last year's SummerSlam, Rousey Rousey effectively announced her retirement from professional wrestling after making one appearance each on an independent show and ROH.
