Bengaluru, December 18: Almost, every match on the Clash of Champions card were executed well that made the PPV a success.

There was a good opener to set the tone of the show with the crowd from Boston, Massachusetts remaining quite vocal for the entire evening which in turn inspired the superstars as we saw Jinder Mahal deliver the match of his life in the main event.

In the middle of the card, there was the Smackdown Women’s Championship match contested between two bitter rivals, Charlotte Flair and Natalya. Since these two competed for the umpteenth time, the creative team wanted to keep a variation in this contest. SO, it was contested as a Lumberjack match.

The female superstars from the WWE locker room made their presence felt in the match and did not let Carmella cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

However, the champion remained focused in the chaos to lock in the figure-eight to pick up the win. This loss was taken in a personal way by Natalya as she addressed the crowd after the match.

According to her statement, she has been carrying the women’s division for over a decade but does not get the respect in return from the crowd. Since the audience has turned their back on her, she is also turning her back on them. With that being said, she decided to leave the ring without any further explanation for those comments.

The current speculation suggests that this might be a potential retirement plan for Natalya. Going forward, she will be written off from WWE TV by virtue of it. She is a veteran in this business who has served the company since the beginning of her career and now needs a proper send-off.

If that’s not the case, then another angle might be in-store between Charlotte and Natalya’s family being involved in a rivalry. The former women’s champion also made some nasty comments about the Flair family during her promo which was taken well by the Queen. This storyline should be addressed in the upcoming episode of Smackdown Live.
