Jagmeet dares 'The Khali' to fight him

Chandigarh, May 8 (UNI) Indian Junior National Wrestling Champion Jagmeet today challenged 'The Great Khali', a star peformer in WWE in the US, to fight him if he is a real wrestler.

Jagmeet, a BA first year student of DAV College, Sector 10 here, is training under Chandigarh Sports Department wrestling coach Darshan Lal for the last five years.

Six-feet and 10 inches tall, 125 kg frame Jagmeet said he was willing to fight Dalip Singh Rana any where in the world and in any style --- Greco-Roman or Freestyle.

''If Khali triumphs over me, I will pay him Rs 5 lakh,'' he said.

''If Khali is a world class wrestler, he should qualify for 2008 Beijing Olympics and bring an Olympic medal for India,'' said Jagmeet who is son of a farmer in Ishanpur village near Derabassi.

Jagmeet is the second Indian wrestler to challenge Dalip Singh Rana, who is an employee of Punjab Police. Earlier, Olympian Palwinder Singh Cheema had challeged him to fight in any style of wrestling. In case Khali wins, Cheema has promised that he would surrender his Rushtem-e-Hind title.
